A FLOWER IN BLOOM. Since the start of my vacation in March, I have been tasked to water the plants in my grandmother’s garden - something that I totally enjoy. Everyday, just minutes after 4:00 PM, I can be seen carrying a pail of water and a dipper patiently doing my assignment. Heavy rainfalls, however, have kept me away from this task since Monday. This Friday morning, to my surprise, I saw the first fruit (literally, flower) of my efforts. Seeing this little flower bloom made me smile. The next minute, it made me realize that things happen in the right time. If the flower bloomed before the rain, it could be blown away by the wind or drowned by the fallen water. But luckily, it did not. It has bloomed in the right time - no falling rain, just the shining sun. I think the same thing goes in life. We may not “bloom” today. But in the future, in the right time, we will. And we’ll realize that it’s the perfect timing to do so.
P.S. Three Things. Happy May 1st! Happy Feastday St. Joseph the Worker! And of course, Happy Labor’s Day!
